Artist's Comments

Ever heard of Cobalt Turquoise? Best color in the world, especially a tube of the Winsor Newton Acyclic stuff. Costs an arm and a leg though.

I was creating a poster for my college and I wanted to test out this new tube of paint I just bought (cobalt turquoise.) So, before I started the poster, I painted this on a piece of illustration board.

So even if you do not think that Fish and Boat by ~RayArray looks like a fantastic cover illustration for a children's book yet to be written...it still looks real nice. And it uses "cobalt turquoise", which sounds like a fun color. (Suggested by ~dannie and Featured by `zeruch)

Here I'll give you a secret link to final poster for health services :

What do you think? (I had to rush it. )
It was terrible. The guy is naked and partly unfinished. Parts of the image scanned poorly and then I did a crappy tiling job in photoshop. Isn't lack of time the great deciding factor in our lives? My type on is something to laugh at as well!. LOL. I can't believe I submit things like this.

Some of my other sketches I did for this ended up interesting as well. I don't exactly know how this one started as 'hope poster'.

All the best & Enjoy!

:omg: hehe i really liked tha tones & coloring u use.. the one for the health services is really sweet.
the fact that you rushed it makes it even mroe interesting becuz i dont think anyone will look for a detailed painting for that kind of an issue. so i liked it :) but i must say. i ll be lokin forward to see more Cobalt Turquoise in your paintings :) heh and about the second one.. made me remember that last tom cruise movie we saw.. with the aliens in it :P cant remember what it was called but the monsters looked like tha tripods in the movie to me.. i dunno why i always link things with the movies i saw :P
and about the lack of time thing.. you are absolutely right but i thing you are doing fine n your paintings.
+dwatching you...
