News flash! ....Giant Penguin terrorizes the city and attacks with laser beam eyes!
Penguin of gia-normous size lumbers through the city like its personal playground freezing buildings with super powered laser eyes. As the city turns into winter wonderland civilians are either enthralled or terrorized out of their wits. People gather to see the carnage while others flees its after mass. We will report further as information becomes available. The origin of this antarctic Godzilla is unknown, as is what it will do when it has transformed the entire city into a winter paradise. Stay tuned. Good night and remember your winter jacket if you leave the house. We turn you over to the weather channel for an update. It looks like we are in for quite the extended cold front.

This, um, erm.. is a huge painting, it is at least 3 x 4 feet and took a healthy chuck of my time of the past two weeks. I get these ambitious desires to create big, and I seem to always start to question myself after the second or fourth all-nighter. Yes, this took way longer than I expected and much more acrylic. (I ran out of black acrylic actually. I ended up fudging with black sharpie and some black print making ink.) I was given these gia-normous stretcher bars by some random guy on the streets of Boston. Yes, he was getting rid of art stretchers. But, what I didn't realize is that the back of these stretchers have nails heads wedged up and down every inch of them... I ended up gorging the crap out of a side table and my boyfriend's fuzz ball table which I had it leaned against.. He just went to Ikea to replace the side table while I got a set of piers and tore out the wretched little nail heads.

My niece Hannah is in the bottom right hand corner with the penguin stuffed animal. Heh.
